The privileges I would lose if the Australian government banned the internet would being not able to chat with relatives overseas and in Australia, not being able to chat with friends, not being able to use the internet for work purposes, not being able to get the latest news without waiting for the evening news, not being able to see the newest concept cars at auto shows and many other good things you can do on the internet.
I wouldn’t feel that good if they did ban the internet. I would be bored and not have anything to do, except for go outside and be active which is one of the positive things if this happens to me.

Transfer Technologies is a company which sell electronics in its stores around the globe. It also runs a magazine in Australia which concentrates on all types of electronics and technology.
At Transfer Sydney we need a new editor. The editor will start work in a training lesion for a week then start to work with a group of 4 editors on the magazine. The role needed to for fill is to start editing the top five and advertisement sections. The qualities needed for this role:
- have excellent oral, written communication and computer skills
- a typing speed of over 65 words a minute
- be creative with a good command of English
- have good organisational and time-management skills
- be able to work well under pressure
- be able to work to deadlines
- be flexible and adaptable to changed environments
- have an interest in electronics.
Most of the work will be done on the computer and in the office, at times editors maybe called outside the office. The usual weekly hours are 35-40. The editor must be highly disciplined and able to work to tight deadlines with speed and accuracy. Team work skills is a must as the editor will be working in a team of 4 editors and also with other writers.

Newspaper editors have the overall responsibility for the quality, accuracy and tone of their publication, or a section within it. Their main responsibilities may include:

- interviewing and writing stories

- meeting the targets
The editors work work around 40 hours a week and are expected to cover stories even if they have a day off.

- Reporter
A reporter is a type of journalist who researches and then presents it in the forms of media. The reporter also writes the articles which they present in the news room. Apart from presenting all articles in the news room they also go live to witness to story.

– Journalist
Journalists are people who find information on the current events, trends, people and issues. Reporters are one type of journalist. All journalists create articles for massmedia such as television, radio, magazines internet and film.

– Designer
A newspaper designer arranges the material on the newspaper acording to the editorial. Some ways this could be done is to:

During class we were given a list of things we can do to be sacramental, a living presence of God through out the term or year. I chose to show random acts of kindness through out the year as think that I am going to do this act well. I will do this act by going up to boys (if any) who are sitting alone and try to make friends or say hi to boys, ask the teachers if they need help and other acts if they help me become sacramental.

One current event in the news media at the moment is the article on CNN.com about the record of the shrinking rate of glaciers. A brief summary. Scientists have discovered that at the rate that the glaciers are shrinking most of them will be gone within a decade. The United Nations (UN) has shown studies that the countries that would suffer most are India and North America since most of their water and waterways are run by glaciers. Also hat the Average shrinkage between1980 and 1999 has been 1 foot of ice on the glacers yearly and is now over 20 inches of ice a year.

NetAlert is the Australian Government’s internet safety initiative which consists of a wide range of activities. Together, these activities provide a comprehensive response to the needs of the Australian community in protecting their families online. The government has implemented such a program so that the youth and the rest of the population of Australia can stay protected the dangers of the internet, example pornography, cyber bullying, identity theft, etc. Keeping us safe and letting us privately use the net without the worry of protection.

Representation
On this page you can see that there is only a small porton of the sky shown and more of the underground is shown with fossils, this represents that the animals or aboriginals have been defeated, and taken over. You can also seen a Rabbit standing in the top left corner and facing away from everything else looking through a telescope. This represents that he is search the land or finding other animals on their land. Underground you can see animals who are chained up, this also shows that have been defeated and have treated unfairly.

The modality is high and colours are high in contrast in some page where they are show trying to power and strength, where as the defeated, dull pages are low in modality and there are less bright colours. DPS 9 is a dull page and shows defeat with is low modality and darker colours. The pages has very low illumination which is around the rabbits and not near the animals, there is no illumination underground near the fossils. The background is dull and dark showing loss and defeat.

Compositional Meanings
The information gained from this DPS 9 is that the animals (Aboriginals) have been defeated and the rabbits (white man) have won, this also shows that the rabbits taken over the land which originally belonged to the animals (aboriginals). The most salient figure is the Rabbit with the chained up animals which shows the message that the have been mistreated.

The book is portraying the significant events in the Aboriginal history with the white man. The book represents the white man as rabbits as rabbits breed quickly and take over land as the white man were doing. The Aboriginal is portrayed as the animals that are affected by the rabbits eating all their food and taking over their land and shelter.
- What is the message?
The message that this sends through out the book is that the white man mistreated the Aboriginal Australians. It also shows how rabbits take over land.

On D.P.S.4 the ship is shown I golden, bright colour which stands out in the dark sky showing power, the rabbits are shown wearing black, red and gold these colours show royalty, power and strength. The other animals in the background in a dark brown which blends in with the sand and dirt showing that they not as important as the rabbits are shown.
